Elkhorn RV Resort is located in Lake City, Colorado, midway between Gunnison and Creede on Highway 149.
In Lake City, from Highway 149 (Gunnison Avenue), turn west onto 7th Street and travel two blocks. The Elkhorn RV Resort will be directly in front of you. Our street address is 713 Bluff Street. See map, View Larger Map
PLEASE NOTE: Colorado highways are well-maintained, however, those of you who have trailers and mid- to large-size RVs may want to enter Lake City from the north. Access from the south (Creede, South Fork) requires passage down Slumgullion Pass into Lake City. Slumgullion Pass is one of the steepest paved passes in the state (and that’s saying something!) We’d hate to see you start your visit to Lake City with a new brake job! You can find advice on how to traverse this piece of Hwy with a large RV and/or trailer here.
